A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document issued by the Office Of Public Guardian (OPG) to off you some protection if you lose mental capacity i.e. if you are unable to make decisions on your own behalf.
There are two type of LPA, a Financial LPA and a Health & Welfare LPA.
An LPA would be used with a financial institution such as a bank, or pension provider to claim on funds, or a Primary Care Trust / NHS when a loved one is ill or unable to chose a service for themselves.
You can arrange these yourself via the OPG website, but some people find the forms complex and difficult to complete, we have years of experience applying for LPGs and offer a more streamlined service.
All LPAs arranged are registered as default with the OPG. If you are unsure which LPA you need please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Health (Health & Welfare) LPA £300 (including OPG fees)
Financial (Property & Affairs) LPA £300 (including OPG fees)
